The North Ridgeville Lions Club is a non-profit service organization that has been active in our community since its charter in 1961. Lions are striving to rid the world of preventable and reversible blindness. We also strive to help our community by support or service.
The International Association of Lions Clubs is the world’s largest volunteer service club organization. It is comprised of 46,000 clubs worldwide with more than 1.7 million members in over 200 countries. Club members participate in local and international humanitarian projects emphasizing vision care, community welfare and the promotion of international understanding.
Imagine a World with Lions…
I wonder if you could close your eyes and think of the impact on our fellow man if there were no service clubs. No non-government assistance for the poor, the blind, the infirmed.
Love and hope are sometimes hard to find. Our motto is “We Serve” to try to make the world a better place.
Our Lions Club is but a small part of the largest service organization in the world. We make contributions to help the needy, the sight or hearing impaired, veterans, and afflicted people locally, nationally as well as internationally. The world is your community too. Become involved! Talk to any Lion member to find out how you can contribute.
